Purpose and scope of position
This position contributes to our success:
Assisting the store manager in executing the store operation during the planned shift.
This job hires partners and assigns tasks so that the partners can create and maintain a Starbucks experience for our customers.

Summary of key responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions are not limited to:
Tata Starbucks works with integrity, honesty and knowledge that drives culture and values
Expect customer and store needs by constantly evaluating customers from the environment and customers.
The shift maintains a positive example for the team to keep the store afloat during high volume or unusual events in order to keep the store working as scheduled.
Assist in new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and providing respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
Provides feedback to the store manager about partner performance during shifts.
Alarms or partners contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing changes in morale and efficiency and contacting the store manager.
Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful training and feedback to shift partners to ensure operational excellence and improve partner performance.
Delivers fictitious customer service to all customers with a ‘customer comes first’ attitude and interaction with customers. Finds and responds to customer needs.
Develop a positive relationship with the shift team by understanding and addressing personal motivations, needs and issues.
Performs store operations during scheduled shifts. Conducts opening and closing duties as assigned.
Tata follows Starbucks’ operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety and security to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
Follows all cash management and cash registration strategies and proper cash management practices are followed by the shift team.
Barista pursues during shifts to ensure the delivery of great customer service to all customers.
Maintaining regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Provides quality beverages, whole beans and food products consistently to all customers, adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
Compliance with the standards on food, protection and hygiene on all goods.
Identifies and strengthens the availability of individuals and teams by using existing organizational tools and collaborating with store managers to discover new, creative and effective methods of identification.
Summary of experience and learning
Minimum 1 year experience handling teams in retail setup
Minimum Education Eligibility – 12th / Diploma +
