What success is seen in this role:
Roles and Responsibilities
Create, monitor and manage report portfolios. Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of reporting products, modify or implement new reports as needed.
Design, develop, and distribute a wide variety of work reports to the business, including standard, composite, metrics, and trending reports and worksheets.
Actively identifying and developing reporting dashboards to improve the use of Work Day, creating solutions that support metrics for HR and large-scale trading.
Assist with implementation, enhancement, and improvement, including the deployment of Workday bi-annual releases and change management processes.
Troubleshooting and troubleshooting system issues with a focus on data error, security, processing and root cause and creative problem solving.
Ensure proper use, storage and transmission of sensitive employee data and participate in data administration and security reviews.
Create and update documentation and training / quick reference guides for occasional system implementation, refinements and improvements. Provide appropriate communication as improvements and improvements are made.
Audit data quality / integrity and system maintenance to ensure that accurate data is distributed to all parties, including third parties.
Keep visibility on the work community and local user groups to minimize new features, advocate for product defects and desired enhancements.
You will succeed in this role if you have:
Education, experience and skills required:
Degree or postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources or related field.
At least 5 years work day experience in the role of analyst or administrator or main HR functions supporting developer.
Ability to independently, with resources and creatively research and implement new solutions
Working knowledge of analytics and reporting tools like Excel, Microsoft BI (Report Builder, Power BI) as well as good knowledge of PowerPoint presentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detailed to improve existing processes, develop technical skills and desire to implement best practices
Experience as a report developer on multiple to-end implementations of Varkade HCM is required, assembling requirements, resolving design and reporting details, hands-on reports / dashboard / prism integration development, testing activities, go into production, ongoing support
Hands-on custom reporting and advance reporting are required (Advanced, Matrix and Composite Reporting, BIRT etc.)
Experience in capturing requirements and documenting business processes as well as prototyping and testing.
Demonstrated ability to create, modify, and manage workday calculated field and safety roles when evaluating downstream results.
Experience helping stakeholders, organizing necessary sessions and partnering with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and IT teams.
High-level discreet self-starter with highly sensitive / confidential data.
Proven advice and communication skills with a service-oriented approach to internal customer and peer relationships.
Analyze sensitive and highly confidential information and data critiques and the ability to create reports and dashboards that affect multiple levels of the organization.
Understanding the many work modules and data architectures, work day business object models.
Demonstrated understanding of HRIS database design, design, functions and processes.
Work day reporting certification is strongly preferred.
